Buy Bixby started on November 1. Some of the stops that can earn tickets toward its $10,000 grand prize are a car wash, an oil change shop, a tire store and a couple of local coffee counters. The Bixby Metro Chamber's shop-local promotion is usually filed with holiday gift shopping. The 2026 participant list looks more like a typical week of errands in Bixby.
There are four prizes this year. Two are $1,000, one is $2,000 and the grand prize is $10,000, which adds up to $14,000. Shoppers 18 and older collect tickets until Thursday, December 10. The finale follows the Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 12. That leaves about five weeks of normal spending, and the deadline comes two days before parade night downtown.
The 2026 Roster Reads Like a Weekly Errand List
The participating businesses page is a wall of logos, and the image files for this season are labeled 2026. Grouped by the errand they cover, the clearly identified participants look like this:
- Groceries and supplies: Harps, Reasor's, Akins, Home Hardware and Bixby Farm & Ranch
- Car care: Quick Quack, Jiffy Lube, Tire Barn, Christian Brothers and KC Auto
- Coffee and meals: Roast House Coffee, Scooter's, Savastano's, Simple Simon's, Tijuana's, Scott's Hamburgers, IHOP and Chick-fil-A Bixby Central
- Appointments and accounts: Bixby Family Dentistry, Tangelo Orthodontics, Bixby Vision, TTCU, WSFCU and CFCU
- Everything else: Bixby Wine & Spirits, Sutherlands, BTC and Barnett, among others
Grocery stores, oil changes, eye exams and lunch are things a household pays for in November whether or not a holiday promotion is running. Because the list leans so heavily on those businesses, a household with a routine week in Bixby may already be visiting several participants without trying.
Some logos on the page link to a different business than the one pictured, so check the official list before planning a trip around a specific stop. The Chamber also takes questions at 918-366-9445.
How a Ticket Actually Reaches Your Wallet
There's no set number of tickets per dollar spent. According to the Buy Bixby FAQ, each merchant decides how it gives out tickets. Every merchant has to give at least one ticket per customer and can't give more than 100 for a single purchase. So the same $50 could earn one ticket at one counter and several at another. The only way to find out is to ask at the register.
The rest of the rules fit in a few lines:
- No cap on your total. The Chamber says there's no limit to how many tickets you can collect by shopping at participating merchants.
- Age. You must be 18 or older to win.
- Attendance. You don't need to be at the drawing to win.
- Claim window. Winners have two business days to claim a prize. After that, a replacement number is drawn.
- Where to look. Winning numbers are posted on BuyBixby.com and Facebook.com/BuyBixby. Winners claim by calling 918-366-9445.
The two-business-day window is the rule most likely to catch someone. Because the drawing falls on a Saturday night in mid-December, a winning ticket sitting forgotten in a coat pocket could expire before anyone checks the website. Keeping every ticket in one envelope or one kitchen drawer makes it quick to compare against the posted numbers.
The Deadline Sits Two Days Before the Parade
Bixby's holiday events fit around the Buy Bixby schedule. Here's the season in order, starting from the first Thursday of November:
- Now through Thursday, December 10: Collect Buy Bixby tickets at participating businesses.
- Saturday, November 21, 5 to 7 p.m.: Lights On at Charley Young Park, 50 W. Dawes. The City of Bixby lists it as the kickoff to Christmas in Downtown with Christmas entertainment.
- Sunday, November 22: The listed opening day for Bixby's Winter Wonderland, Downtown Bixby's sixth annual outdoor ice rink. The season runs through January 3.
- Tuesday, December 1, 8 a.m.: Tickets go on sale for The Christmas Express.
- Thursday, December 10: The last day to collect Buy Bixby tickets.
- Saturday, December 12: The Rotary Club of Bixby Christmas Parade. Parade entries line up starting at 4:45 p.m. at the 9th-grade parking lot on Riverview, and the city calendar lists the parade at 6 p.m. The Buy Bixby Grand Finale follows at about 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 16 through Monday, December 21: The Christmas Express runs nightly from downtown.
Lights On and the rink's opening fall at roughly the halfway point of the ticket window, and the window closes just before the parade weekend. Downtown trips to see the lights or skate fall inside the collection period, which also includes the run-up to Thanksgiving.
The prize listings on BuyBixby.com say the drawings happen December 12. The homepage also says the $10,000 winning number will be announced December 13. If you're holding tickets, check the Chamber's site and Facebook page on both days.
One Downtown Footprint, Start to Finish
The drawing and the season's events also share the same few downtown addresses.
The Bixby Metro Chamber, which runs Buy Bixby, lists its address as 1 North Armstrong, Suite A. Bixby First Assembly lists the Hub at 1 N. Armstrong as the departure point for The Christmas Express. Its turn-of-the-century trolley leaves every 45 minutes and rides through downtown with music, dancers and a living nativity stop. The ride ends at the Bixby Historical Society. There, riders can take photos with Santa, get complimentary hot chocolate and walk through the Festival of the Trees.
The Bixby Historical Society also appears on the Buy Bixby schedule. The sign-up page lists it as the site of the drawing. So the Chamber's office, the drawing site and the trolley route all sit in the same few downtown blocks. Lights On happens downtown too, at Charley Young Park, 50 W. Dawes.
For a household that lives a few miles from downtown, that makes the season easier to plan. One parking spot on parade night or Lights On night puts you within walking distance of most of what's happening. December trips downtown also overlap with the errands that are earning tickets along the way.
What Organizers Haven't Posted Yet
A few details are still pending as of early November, so check before you go:
- Rink hours and prices. The Winter Wonderland site says 2026 skate dates will be announced in November. The hours and admission prices on the page now are labeled 2025, so expect updates before opening day. For groups, the site points to [email protected].
- Christmas Express ticket times. The Downtown Bixby event page shows the December 16–21 run but says tickets aren't on sale yet. Sales open December 1 at 8 a.m.
- Lights On details. The city's listing promises Christmas entertainment and the kickoff to Christmas in Downtown. Check the City of Bixby calendar closer to November 21 for the final lineup.
Parade-night logistics are already set. Parade entries line up at 4:45 p.m. on Riverview, the parade is listed for 6 p.m., and the Buy Bixby finale follows at about 8 p.m.
